Newsletter Issue 1, 2007

PRESIDENT'S PRATTLE:  Well its netball sign-on tiem again.  Sign-on will be at Casey Ave Courts at 1.30pm Saturday 3rd February.  The Canteen will be open for lunch or snacks and drinks.  Members from 2006 will be sent out Brothers and Mackay Netball Registration Forms, please have both completed and return with money at sign-on or you can post them in to us.  No player will be registered with Mackay Netball unless ALL fees have been payed.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:  Will be hled after sign-on at approx. 2.45pm Saturday 3rd February. Please give consdieration to putting your hand up to take a position.  Our committee is always overcommitted with Club, Association and Regional committments.

FEES:  A pleasant surprise!! Fees will be lower this year.

Player registration will be:    Junior:   $60       Senior:    $70

Team Fees will be:              Junior:   $65       Senior:    $105

Goodwill will be:                  Junior:   $5         Senior:    $5

Total:                                              $130.00               $180.00

THERE WILL BE NO UMPIRE LEVY THIS YEAR.  BUT EACH TEAM MUST SUPPLY AT LEAST 2 UMPIRES WHO WILL BECOME ASSOCIATION UMPIRES AND BE PAID BY MACKAY NETBALL.

UNIFORMS:  If you need a new uniform or maybe need to swap a size please contact Raelene Wyer on 0419297211 so arrangements can be made.  If you have a second hand uniform that you would like to sell please bring to Sign-On.

CLUB SHIRTS:  We have a number of club shirts in stock available for purchase.  These make good training shirts or just to pop over your uniform.

MERCHANDISE:  Drink Bottles, socks and hats are also available for sale.  These will be availalbe at Sign-On.

SPONSORS & FUNDRAISING:  At the moment we have no confirmed sponsorship for 2007.  If you know of a company that may be interested please contact Melissa Balchin on 0408737696.  Fundraising events will be held throughout the year, please make an effort to support these events.  Our Trivia Night is always a lot of fun.  Without fundraising & sponsorship we are unable to maintain our base fees and also we cannot pay for courses or new equipment.

MACKAY REP TRIALS:  12, 15, 16 & 17 years rep trials will be held at Mackay Basketball Courts on 18th March at 9.00am.  13 & 14 years will be at 2.00pm on the 17th March also at Mackay Basketball Courts.
